Eliot Arms, Tregadillett– our closest pub, full of character. Serves generous portions of tasty traditional food. Specials board and children’s portions available.
The Rising Sun, near Altarnun(see map for directions). Popular pub in a country setting with a good reputation for great food and drink.
Springer Spaniel, Treburley– The standard of food at this gastropub is very high. They have several different menus including tapas, Sunday lunch and pups (children). (See their website).
Cowslip Café, Newhouse Farm, Launceston– located on an organic farm with craft courses and a fabric shop, this family friendly café serves delicious food for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. If the weather is fine you can sit in the pretty garden and admire the view.
Jericho’s Kitchen, Launceston– interesting menu for lunch (Mon-Sat) or evening (Thurs-Sat). Locally sourced food all freshly prepared. Great view of the castle. Family friendly.
Green House, Launceston– a tiny café specialising in healthy options, vegetarian and vegan food. Delicious smoothies. Open Mon-Sat daytime and Fri-Sat evening.
Lifton Farm Shop and Restaurant– Very popular and great for all ages at any time of day (open 8am-5pm). You can also stock up on locally produced meat, veg, preserves etc.
Lifton Hall Restaurant– Award winning Sunday lunch, afternoon tea and evening meals.
Lewtrenchard Manor– Treat yourselves to lunch, afternoon tea or an evening meal at this beautiful country house.
BY THE SEA
Boscastle Farm Shop–Stunning views, beside the coastal footpath. Café open 9am-4pm serving breakfast, snacks, lunch and cakes. Children’s menu and take-away also available. Always busy because it’s so good!
Coombe Barton, Crackington Haven– Perfectly located to watch the sunset over the beach, this family friendly pub serves food at all times of the day. Book early for a sea view.
Bay View Inn, Widemouth–A popular pub-come-restaurant serving up big burgers, steaks, salads and more. Kids will love the outdoor play area.
Elements– On the coast road between Widemouth and Bude. Delicious Italian inspired menu.
The Weir, Marhamchurch– Just along the canal from Bude. Children’s menu, play area, lake and Segway trail. Open 9am-4.30pm daily and Thurs-Sat evenings. Delicious food.
Life’s A Beach, Bude– overlooking Summerleaze beach. A café during the day and restaurant in the evening specializing in seafood.
Port William, Trebarwith– perched on the top of the cliff above the beach this pub has amazing views and the food is good too.
