1. Your Booking
The party leader must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking. Your booking is made as a consumer and you agree that no liability can be accepted by Gospenheale Barn for any expenses, cost, losses, claims or other sums of any description which relate to any business, howsoever incurred or suffered by you. When Gospenheale Barn issues a written confirmation this denotes that Gospenheale Barn has entered into a contract with you. Please check the details, and let Gospenheale Barn know if anything is incorrect.
2. Paying For your Property
When you book your property you should send the deposit amount of 30% then due by BACS, PayPal or cheque, together with a completed booking form on the online booking page or in writing to Gospenheale Barn. Providing the booking can be confirmed Gospenheale Barn will then issue an email confirmation showing your booking details and the balance of your total holiday cost, which must be received by Gospenheale Barn no later than 8 weeks before your arrival date. However if you book less than 8 weeks before the arrival date, payment of your total holiday cost is due straight away. All prices quoted to you in the brochure include all booking fees, charges, If any payment you make is not honoured for any reason, Gospenheale Barn is entitled to make an administration charge of £25.
3. Cancellation or Changes to your booking by Gospenheale Barn
It is not expected to have to make any changes to your booking, but if this does happen the party leader will be contacted as soon as is reasonably practicable, to explain the cancellation or change. If possible a refund may be offered.
4. Circumstances beyond the control of Gospenheale Barn
Except where otherwise expressly stated in these conditions, Gospenheale Barn shall not be liable for any change, cancellation, effect on your holiday, loss or damage suffered by you, which is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) beyond the reasonable control of Gospenheale Barn. Circumstances include, but are not limited to, fire, flood, exceptional weather conditions, epidemics or destruction to the property by any cause and all similar situations. No compensation, expenses, costs or any other sums will be payable in such circumstances.
5. Website details
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the website and prices, errors do occasionally occur. You must therefore check all details of the property and prices with Gospenheale Barn at the time of booking.
Gospenheale Barn shall have no liability for any death or personal injury unless, in the case this results from negligence of Gospenheale Barn . You must take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property. No liability is accepted by Gospenheale Barn in respect of damage to, or loss of, such personal property except where the damage is caused by negligence of Gospenheale Barn.
7. If you change or cancel your booking
i) Changes – if you want to change your booking once your confirmation has been issued an administration fee of £25 will be payable to Gospenheale Barn
ii) Cancellations. If you wish to cancel your booking, the party leader must notify Gospenheale Barn as soon as possible, and confirm by writing.
Number of days before arrival is more than 56 days – Full Deposit
Number of days before arrival is 1 to 56 days – Total cost, unless we are able to rebook the week
On arrival date or later – Total cost
8. Your property
You are responsible for actual costs of any breakage or damage in or to the property. Gospenheale Barn is entitled at their discretion to refuse to handover, or to repossess, the property (including fixtures fittings & furnishings) if Gospenheale Barn reasonably believes that any damage is likely to be caused by the members of the holiday party. Such circumstances will be treated as a cancellation by you. No refund of monies you have paid in respect of your booking will be made. You must not allow more people than the brochure states to occupy the property, nor can you take any pet into the property. If these circumstances rise, Gospenheale Barn is entitled to treat this as a cancellation by you. No refund of monies you have paid in respect of your booking will be made.
Every effort has been made to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday. If, however, you have any cause for complaint, please contact the owners as soon as possible. You must put your complaint in writing within 30 days of leaving your holiday if the issue is not resolved during your stay.
10. Your Rights
Your statutory rights are not affected by anything contained within these conditions.
Arrival & Departure
You can arrive at your property after 4pm on the start date of your holiday, and you must leave by 10am on the last day. Please notify Gospenheale Barn if you plan to arrive after 8pm on the start date.
All electricity and heating oil is included in your holiday cost.
Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate pets, with the exception of guide dogs
Bed linen is supplied, and beds will be made up before you arrive. We do not supply cot linen
Towels, and tea towels are provided. We do not provide beach towels.
Visitors with Special Requirements
Please notify us at the time of booking of any special requirements and we will do our utmost to fulfil these.
Gospenheale barn is cleaned thoroughly between holidays. We ask visitors to leave the property in the same state of cleanliness and tidiness as that which it is found. Smoking is not permitted in the property.
